Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and gather patient medical history Perform intrauterine insemination (IUI), endometrial biopsies Perform transvaginal ultrasounds including antral follicle count, monitoring during in vitro fertilization cycles, endometrial lining development, early obstetrical ultrasounds Counsel patients on treatment options Coordinate cycles for IVF, Egg Donor and Gestational Carrier cycles Administers or orders diagnostic tests, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in the provision of continuity of care. Work closely with our fertility doctors to provide top quality care for our patients On the job training provided Education: Graduation from an accredited PA program Current NYS licensure, BLS/ACLS certification NCCPA board certification are required. Current Infection Control Certification. Experience: 3 years experience in a fertility or Ob/GYN practice preferred Ultrasound experience preferred Experience in and a passion for women’s health, fertility is a plus Requirements: Excellent communication skills and be a team player and possess strong clinical skills. This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, colleagues and the medical center.
