Utilities Earthwork Foreman

Job Description Job Description Our company focuses exclusively on underground utilities and site work, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and site preparation. We provide grading, clearing, placement, and compaction of rock, sand, dirt, trees, asphalt, and concrete, as well as demolition and removal of debris from building sites. As a Utilities Earthwork Foreman, your main objective will be to oversee and manage all earthwork activities related to utility projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all earthwork is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute earthwork activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising a team of earthwork operators and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. Ultimately, your contribution will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of utility projects on time and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all earthwork activities for utility projects. Supervise a team of earthwork operators and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure that all earthwork is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and implement earthwork plans. Monitor and evaluate the progress of earthwork activities, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success. Qualifications: Experience in supervising a team of earthwork operators and laborers. Strong knowledge of earthwork techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Knowledge of utility construction regulations and requirements. Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications. Ability to operate earthwork equipment as needed.
