Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The NOC Level 1 Tech position involves monitoring equipment and services, resolving escalated support issues, provisioning network access points, switches, power monitoring equipment and customer subscriber modules and supports field operations to ensure optimal installation. Role-Specific Responsibilities • Diagnosing and resolving more complex internet and network issues. • Resolve Issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance with all Service Level Agreements. • Provisioning of all needed tower switches, power equipment, wireless access points and customer subscriber modules. • Enforce and maintain frequency compliance with all pertinent FCC regulations. • Reviewing and planning Tower Frequency usage to avoid/minimize impact of Noise and Interference within the Wireless Network. • Maintain Network Documentation of both Private and Public IP Subnets. • Removal of retired network devices from all Network Documentation and Monitoring sites. • Monitoring Bresco Broadband’s core network for outages and performance issues. • Coordinating with Field Technical Staff for onsite troubleshooting and repairs. • Programming and configuring equipment for field installations. • Advanced troubleshooting of Fiber and Wireless technologies. • Educating customers on resolving recurring issues and optimizing their service. • Ensuring timely resolution of escalated tickets from Customer Service. • Documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference. • Continuously monitor the network with Bresco-provided systems, reporting anomalies and outages. • Resolve tickets assigned to Tier 1, documenting resolutions and maintaining communication with affected parties. Physical Demands Occasional outside work requiring exertion (lift, push, pull) of up to 100 pounds rarely, up to 50 pounds infrequently, and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Job requires constant indoor work, sitting and operating a computer. Job requires occasional standing, walking, squatting / kneeling, bending; infrequent traveling, climbing, crawling, and reaching outward or above the shoulder. Must be able to use computer and printer. Must be able to present information to others and work under stress. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel away from home required. Salary/Wages • This is a Salary Exempt position which pays an annual salary of $45,760. • Benefits and other employment details shall be pursuant to the At Will Employee Handbook.
