Electrical test Engineer(Power Electronics)

Job Description Job Description Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and Setup Tests in a Power Electronics Lab Design and develop test plans, procedures, and fixtures for new and existing products, including but not limited to IGBTs, GTOs, Inverter Assemblies, Sensors, Bus Bars, Cold Plates, and Transformers Execute testing in a Power Electronics Lab Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing of power electronic components and systems using various testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, probes, sensors etc.) Analyze Test data; Collect and analyze test data using MATLAB and Excel, identify trends, and generate detailed test reports. Provide recommendations for design improvements based on test results Required Skills (Technical Competency): Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university OR Associates degree in an Electrical Engineering or Technology from an accredited university or college plus 2 years of Electrical/Test experiences A minimum of 1 year of work experience in an electrical test environment Knowledge power electronics Proficiency in MatLab and Microsoft applications Knowledge in test instruments, data acquisition systems, and test equipment Physical Requirements: Ability to climb repeatedly and work from heights off ladders, platforms, and scaffolds Repeated bending, reaching above head, climbing, and kneeling Repeated straight pulling and pushing Prolonged standing and walking Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces Exposure to constant noise 90 DBA Able to distinguish basic colors Exposure to fumes/smoke from burning, paint vapors, and dust Moderate to heavy lifting up to 45 lbs.
