Job Description Job Description Gross Pay (weekly): $1800.0 Taxable Pay (weekly): 600.0 Non-taxable Pay (weekly): 1200.0 Allied - Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Travel Shift: 11:00 AM to 09:00 PM Location: Rochester, NY Scheduled Hours : 40 Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes. Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating the needs of surgeons. Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols. Count supplies and instruments before and after surgery. Handle specimens taken for laboratory analysis. Ensure proper care and decontamination of surgical instruments. Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a surgical setting required. Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
