Job Description Job Description Job Title: Recycling Operator Job Description As a Recycling Operator, you will be responsible for visually inspecting and physically sorting scrap PVC material such as vinyl siding and window frames. You will process materials through grinders, mixers, and pulverizing machines. The role requires standing for the entire shift and working in a dusty environment. Responsibilities Visually inspect and physically sort scrap PVC materials by color and grade. Process materials through grinders, mixers, and pulverizing machines. Operate a band saw efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills General labor experience Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery Production and logistics knowledge Machine operating and material handling skills Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout a shift Ability to visually inspect and sort materials Willingness to work mandatory overtime High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred Additional Skills & Qualifications Reliability and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and procedures Eagerness to learn Factory and/or production line experience helpful but not required Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
