Job Description Job Description Job Title: Industrial Electrician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Alliance, OH. This role involves maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems within an industrial setting. You will work afternoon or night shifts, with overtime required. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Responsibilities Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v to 480v and 3-phase systems. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, and machine controls within the plant. Conduct minor mechanical work on conveyors, gears, and bearings. Assist in repairing facility equipment including conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, and mobile equipment. Participate in special installations and projects as needed. Interpret and understand drawings and schematics. Essential Skills Minimum 4 years of industrial electrician/maintenance experience. Proficiency with 480v and 3-phase systems. Experience with machine repair and troubleshooting. Knowledge of circuits, OHMs law, motors, panels, sensors, switches, and photo eyes. Ability to read and interpret schematics. High School diploma or GED required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman Card holders offered top rate without needing Ramsey test. Preferred: Trade School Certificate for Journeyman Course, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience. 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. Work Environment Union environment within a heavy industrial and sometimes dirty setting. Expect hot conditions near furnaces and loud noise levels around tube drop-off areas. The environment is laid back and not very physically demanding. It takes 800 working hours to join the union, with dues payable after 30 days. The opportunity to bid on positions and eventually secure a set shift is available. The role requires working all shifts, with the possibility of 50-60 hour workweeks. Shift differentials apply to afternoon and night shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Alliance, Ohio.
