Job Description Job Description Benefits/Perks Competitive Compensation Salaried Position with possible Performance Bonuses Job Summary Inline Industries, Inc., a Los Angeles area-based manufacturer of ball valves for the commercial, industrial and sanitary process control markets, is currently seeking a Midwest Regional Sales Manager to join our team As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be working with both new and existing clients to retain their business and increase revenue, creating and hitting quarterly and annual sales goals. You will be training and supporting our distributor network as well as working to secure new O.E.M. accounts by getting Inline valves approved and specified by corporate valve decision makers and design engineering firms in a 16 state territory. The ideal candidate has extensive sales experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Travel on a regular basis is a must. Responsibilities Establish and grow existing distribution channels within the valve and piping industry. Provide product training for distributors and make calls with them on end user accounts. Call on engineering companies and process design firms to establish specification of Inline products on various types of industrial projects. Work with O.E.M. accounts to develop the use of Inline products on their systems. Establish and submit sales goals and plans for account development to achieve territory goals. This position requires 60% overnight travel. Balance will be local travel and one office day per week. Qualifications 3 years experience selling industrial piping products to distribution channels or end users. A background in helping engineers with system design and product selection for industrial process piping preferred. College degree a plus, especially in the area of Mechanical Engineering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and with little supervision. Must be self motivated. Organized with excellent attention to detail Prefer someone who lives within an hour of a major airport/hub.
