Pharmacy Intern

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Pharmacy Intern to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. Responsibilities: Participate in pharmacist-provider status efforts and clinical services Compound and dispense prescribed medications Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications Provide patients with pertinent drug information Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage Supervise and maintain records of all medications ​ Qualifications: Previous experience in pharmacy Current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy Program Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Company Description About Altev Community Pharmacy: At Altev, we are more than a pharmacy—we are a dedicated team driven by a shared commitment to delivering care that extends far beyond prescriptions.
