1st Line Network Engineer - Hybrid in Guildford - Up to £36k My client are a Guildford-based telecommunications company who are looking for a new 1st Line Network Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join an expanding team. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1st line network infrastructure support. This will include but not be limited to support, configuration and installation of various network devices and services Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Take ownership and monitor the progress of ongoing and escalated cases through to resolution. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues with switching technologies, like STP, VLANs, VTP. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
