Bar Manager

Develop ideas and events to drive footfall and increase profits Day to day running of the bar including open/close procedures Recruit, manage, develop and motivate staff, including training, setting standards, managing the rota Manage the bar till, cash, payments and till reconciliation Manage marketing and events using social media Demonstrate outstanding customer service Strong cellar management abilities including line cleaning, gas changes, draft dispense, handling deliveries, managing stock and placing orders based on business needs and budget Maintaining high standards with regard to cleanliness of the bar and maintenance of equipment within it. Organisational skills are vital Strong communication skills, acting as main line of contact between bar and kitchen staff Personal Licence Holder Food Hygiene certificate holder Ensure all legal requirements are adhered to e.g. health and safety, licensing legislation, taking overall legal responsibility for the premises licence, cleanliness Ensure menus are up to date and correct Create a welcoming environment for customers and dealing with difficult customer Any other duties as required.
