Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a market-leading manufacturing business to help them recruit a CAD Technician to join their site in Sheffield.Our client design and manufacturer specialist safety equiepment for customers worldwide.Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, the Draftsperson will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and CAD models with a focus on fabrication and sheet-metal. This role will provide opportunity for training, progression and development. Responsibilities of the CAD Technician will include Produce engineering drawings in SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD Support the creation of BOMs Create/check and amend drawings/specifications Complete technical checks before going to Production Help Design Engineers create new product drawings Help tech support and training teams deliver technical information Contribute to developing technical drawing and design resources for customers Support improvements to the quality of technical design resources in customer communications We would be keen to speak with CAD Technicians with the following skills and experience: Qualified in an Engineering field Apprenticeship trained Engineering Experience with sheet-metal and fabrication Industry experience in using CAD/Drive works/SolidWorks Thorough capability of preparation, review and redrafting This is an great opportunity for a CAD Technician and will provide the right candidate with opportunity for training, development and progression.For more information, please contact Steve Barnett or Jack Heffren.
