YOUR ROLE The Business Development Manager is responsible to identify and generate new business opportunities for Project Logistics. They have a deep understanding of the Project Logistics market, service offerings and operational requirements. They spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business and working hand in hand with Pricing and Customer Excellence Teams. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and cooperate with stakeholders to ensure that available solutions to offer to national customers are implemented and applicable Prioritize opportunities and assign teams to jointly develop these into firm awards. Coordinate tenders and bids to major potential customers including obtaining approval from relevant stakeholders. Organize regular communication and meetings within Key Account Management Team, but also the other Development Functions. Coordination and drive of business development activities jointly with all national, regional and/or global involved stakeholders in the Marine Logistics business Maintain communication channels with customers to deliver consistent understanding of customer expectations to solutions, timelines, costs and results. Hybrid between sales and operational execution. Implementation of solutions on customer excellence teams Drive and enable the implementation and execution of UK Project Logistics strategy YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Strong track record working in a B2B sales environment, with proven history of winning sales and driving growth Solid Project Logistics experience, including experience of EPC projects Must be highly computer literate with strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail as well as having the ability to use CRM software.
