Music Technician

Godalming College is looking to appoint a Music Technician to join our well-resourced and successful Music Department. Closing Date: Monday 12th May 2025 at 9am Interview Date: Week commencing 19th May 2025 Salary: £17,442 - £19,154 including fringe allowance Contract Status: Part Time, Term Time, Permanent Music Technician Required from: 26th August2025 Permanent, PartTime / Term Time 1 week. 4 days per week 8.30am to 4.30pm (ideally Monday to Thursday but this can be flexible and at the discretion of the Head of Music). Also required for up to 7 evening concert commitments throughout the year. The Music departmentprovides a rich and varied curriculum suitable for all students interested in the music industry, delivering two A level courses; Music and Music Technology as well as the level 3 BTEC in Digital Music Production. The technical support is key to providing the high standard of provision. In addition to this, we offer a variety of enrichment activities including concert orchestra, jazz band, two choirs and multiple smaller bands and ensembles as well as the RSL Music Practioners Level 3 Qualification. The full-time salary range for the role is £25,479 - £27,979 including fringe allowance and depending on experience. The actual salary would be £17,442-£19,154.
