Job Description This role has the overall responsibility for team success by setting, implementing, and monitoring individual and team objectives and targets, while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities: Monitor team performance and activity Serve clients, identify their needs, and provide feedback on the success of filling jobs Build and maintain internal and external relationships Prepare weekly and monthly reports and figures Hold regular meetings to discuss task delegation and review issues Set quarterly targets and objectives in collaboration with the manager Promote respectful and open communication Assist in interviewing and recruiting team members Perform audits and quality checks Identify opportunities for process improvements Handle escalations from customers and internally Check attendance Train new team members Support the manager with local quotations and pricing Job Requirements: Graduate of any discipline 8-10 years experience in ocean export within a multinational freight forwarder At least 2 years of progressive supervisory experience in customer service in the freight forwarding industry Technical knowledge of ocean export is essential Project management experience is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures Fluent in English (oral and written) Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Management Industries Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Storage J-18808-Ljbffr
