Position: QC Chemical Laboratory Sr. Technician Eli Lilly Italia is seeking a QC Chemical Laboratory Sr. Technician for the quality control chemical laboratory at the Sesto Fiorentino facility. The selected candidate will be involved in analytical and instrumental activities, contributing to the quality and safety of production processes. Main Responsibilities Perform analytical tests, ensuring compliance with current methods and regulations. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on raw materials. Perform instrumental tests and verify physicochemical characteristics on finished products and stability samples. Carry out chemical analyses on APIs and excipients. Sample and analyze plant fluids. Prepare reagents and solutions for analytical tests, adhering to GMP and company SOPs. Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation. Manage and interpret analytical data using specific software (Empower, SmartLab). Handle samples and input data into electronic systems (Darwin LIMS). The role also involves maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, including HPLC, IR and FTIR spectrophotometers, pH meters, conductometers, centrifuges, and Hopple viscometers . Ensuring compliance with quality standards and collaborating with the HSE team to maintain a safe work environment is essential. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical-Pharmaceutical Technologies (CTF). Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, IR and FTIR spectrophotometers, pH meters, conductometers, centrifuges, and Hopple viscometers. Good command of the English language. Availability to work on morning/afternoon shifts is required. The initial employment will be under a fixed-term contract.
