Project Manager/Assistant Manager

Specifically, the Project Manager will IP Operations: Technology Landscapes/Stat-of-the-art Searches White Space Analysis to understand a complete technology landscape IP Risk and competitive landscaping. Competitor Monitoring to help companies understand their competitors’ technological directions Innovation Landscaping for IP program managers Technology Scouting based on NPL study- Scouting patents/technologies for acquisitions, identifying technology partners, evaluation of key/emerging players across the value chain. Range of other basic and advanced due-diligence studies customized to the needs of our client Within these projects the primary responsibilities: Performance and comprehensiveness of various patent landscape searches. Efficiency in conducting landscape searches using online database and other information resources. Analysis, tagging, and summarization of search results Managing team and reviewing the progress of patent tagging/analysis. Collating data – applying MS excel operations like Pivot, VLOOKUP, count, etc. to create the excel based deliverable. Prepare graphs/bubble charts using excel or any other tools. Providing insightful trends based on the analysis of results Preparing final reports (in PPT) addressing the client questions. Delivering timely, value-added patent landscape reports. An individual working as a Project Manager is expected to have a thorough technical understanding since their work would be presented to Chief IP Counsels, Patent Attorneys, Inventors, Patent Engineers, etc. The candidate should have good command over English language, since the candidate is expected to be able to handle projects end to end independently. In addition to roles, and responsibilities mentioned above, an individual working as a project manager will also be responsible for other SPA/PA/PAI. Apart from handling projects, the individual is expected to be able to handle a team of people as well. Experience 3–6 years of relevant experience required. Must have led a team of 3–4 members. Should have independently managed client interactions. Skills for Success Core Electronics, Computer Science and Telecommunication concepts Worked on different types of Landscape studies (20-30) with patent volume ranging from 2K patent families to 15K patent families. MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams) – knowledge of other platforms like Tableau, etc. is an advantage. Qualifications B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and equivalent) Company Information Elevate is a law company.
