Art Director

We at Extramarks are looking are looking for a talented and motivated art director to lead our company's design department. The successful candidate should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent leadership qualities and communication skills. The art director will work closely with various teams in marketing to deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our customers. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all visual and design deliverables, including branding, advertising, and the development of offline, digital, and social media communications and marketing collaterals. Collaborate closely with the copy lead to shape the creative vision across brand campaigns and marketing messaging. Mentor and manage internal and external creative teams, including graphic designers, illustrators, videographers, and photographers, to maintain consistency and quality. Ensure that all visuals, messaging, and interactive elements are aligned with the overall brand strategy and creative direction. Establish and maintain a cohesive visual language and design tone, bringing stakeholders together under a unified creative vision. Drive ideation through regular brainstorming sessions, fostering innovative and strategic solutions to meet business goals. Plan, schedule, and manage timelines for both short-term and long-term creative projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery of high-quality outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism and other relevant fields. Required Skills 7-10 years of related experience with 3 years of art direction in agency or corporate setting Hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development Understanding and past experience of creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline and print Outstanding leadership and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
