About Us Kalam Labs is a frontier research and product lab building Stratospheric Aerial Robotics for Defence, Meteorology, and Space Science. We're launching UAVs to the edge of space and bringing them back — and now, we’re on a mission to take our DIY tech, kits, and workshops to schools, colleges, and makers across India. Role Overview We’re hiring a hands-on Business Developer who thrives on action, ownership, and outcomes. You’ll build and run high-intensity sales pipelines, lead outreach to institutions, manage events on-ground, and act as the front-line force driving Kalam Labs' DIY programs and aerial robotics education kits. This is not a laptop-in-a-café role. This is hustle, grit, and real execution. What You’ll Do Set up and manage B2B and institutional sales pipelines for educational kits and programs Cold-call and follow up with leads: schools, colleges, makerspaces, and resellers Own and execute physical events and exhibitions — from planning to closing deals Coordinate with student clubs, college tech teams, and startup cells for organizing workshops and bootcamps Work directly with founders to scale outreach and drive revenue Act as a single point of contact between the tech team and external partners for all program-related logistics Who You Are You’re a natural hustler — persistent, energetic, and outcome-oriented Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi Prior experience in sales, event management, or startup ecosystems is a big plus You’re not afraid to pick up the phone, chase leads, and close Ready to travel, get your hands dirty, and own every opportunity You want to grow fast, take real ownership, and work in a mission-led company Perks & Support Full accommodation and fooding provided Work directly with the founding team High trust, high responsibility role from Day 1 Field travel for events, expos, and workshops covered Learn how to build and scale a deeptech business from the inside
