Company: Root On Immigration Consultants (rooton.ca | rooton.in) Location: Surat, Gujarat – on-site (candidates able to commute or relocate) Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Compensation: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (negotiable for bar-admitted lawyers) Start Date: 01 May 2025 About Root On Root On is a Canada-focused immigration firm with 15 years of experience guiding clients through every major Canadian program—from Study Permits to Express Entry, LMIA-based work permits, and Citizenship applications. We operate out of Surat and serve clients worldwide, combining legal rigour with client-first service. Role summary You will be our Application Specialist for all Canadian immigration categories —Study Permits, LMIA (high/low-wage & Owner-Operator), Closed & Open Work Permits, Express Entry (FSW, CEC, FST), Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Sponsorships, Business Immigration, Restoration/Extension applications, and Citizenship. You’ll manage files end-to-end, advise clients on strategy, draft and file submissions, and keep the team fully compliant with IRCC and Service Canada rules. Key responsibilities Client assessment & pathway selection – analyse eligibility, score CRS/PNP points, and recommend optimal routes. Application preparation & filing – draft forms, legal submissions, SOPs, employer compliance docs, affidavits and supporting letters; submit via APR Portal, Employer Portal, e-PNP portals. LMIA coordination – design advertising plans, gather transition documents, and liaise with employers and Service Canada until a decision is made. Case management – track every milestone in the CRM, send proactive updates, request additional evidence, schedule medicals/PCC/biometrics, and guide fee or GIC payments. Legal research & remedies – monitor Act/Reg changes and draft procedural-fairness or reconsideration responses when needed. Stakeholder relations – work with colleges/universities, RCIC/attorney partners, and B2B education agents; represent Root On in webinars and info sessions. Must-have qualifications & skills Education/Licensing LL.B. (mandatory) – enrolment with an Indian Bar Council Experience Minimum 3 years dedicated to Canadian immigration or international student recruitment, with hands-on exposure to LMIA and PR files. Technical & soft skills Expert command of IRCC portals, MS Office, and a modern CRM. Outstanding English drafting; French is an asset. Meticulous, deadline-driven, client-centric, and discreet with sensitive data. What we offer Stable day-shift hours (IST) plus occasional evening calls for Canadian time zones.
