Junior Research Analyst

We're looking for a Junior Research Analyst who is plugged into what's trending globally and on social media . You’ll be responsible for identifying real-world, high-engagement topics across finance, current affairs, politics, sports, tech and culture , and designing forecasting/event markets around them for our users. Follow us on LinkedIn at Metabetter Technologies to stay in touch Key Responsibilities: Track global trends, news stories, financial events, and social media chatter Identify events with predictive potential and translate them into engaging event markets Work closely with our forecasting, product, and content teams to ensure relevance and timing Monitor user behavior and event performance to refine future forecasting ideas Conduct competitive and market research in the prediction markets and analytics space Prepare reports and insights on top-performing markets and emerging user interests Job Requirements: 0–2 years of work experience in research, media, content, or analytics Strong understanding of trends, global affairs, financial markets, and internet culture Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Self-starter who is curious, proactive, and adaptable Bonus: Exposure to prediction markets, social polling or media monitoring tools
