Assistant Customer Service Manager

Job Opportunity: Customer Service – Kurukshetra, Haryana. We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service professional to join our team and support the overall Rail Business for Imports/Exports in the Punjab and NCR locations. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Sales Department , with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and customer retention . As part of the EXIM CSU Team , you will work closely with various departments, including ICD Operations , Rail Operations , and the Transportation Team . You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the Sales team, ensuring seamless collaboration across all functions to drive business growth and deliver outstanding service to customers. Your role will also involve partnering with the ICD , Rail Operations , and Finance Teams to interface with customers, focusing on fostering long-term relationships and meeting their business needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage communication between customers, ICD operations , rail operations , and transportation teams to ensure smooth operations. Provide regular updates on shipment status, rail planning, and any enroute delays to customers. Prepare and maintain cost sheets for all import/export customers, ensuring accurate billing and documentation. Create weekly/monthly reports for business growth analysis and strategic planning. Handle disputes and billing issues , ensuring timely resolution and accurate billing for additional charges (detention, plug-in, etc.). Develop and finalize load plans for export trains, ensuring adherence to customer priorities and schedules.
