Senior Designer

We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer for our brand Grassroot. Responsibilities Managing design process from conception through to final styling for Grassroot brand. Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts. Ensuring product is in agreement with sustainability strategy. Selecting organic fabrics and trims. Creating production sketches for development packages. Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate. Reviewing product for style, comfort and fit during presentation. Qualifications Overall Experience: 6-10 years of experience, with considerable exposure to Retail/ Apparel/ Sustainable space Educational Qualification: Graduate in any Fashion Designing/ Post Graduate in Fashion Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong subject knowledge and understanding, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
