Job Description

Job Objective: Develop & maintain effective Risk management function in the Organization. Promote an effective risk awareness culture throughout the Organization. Job Description: Closely monitoring, analysis and reporting of Operational risks KRIs which may include Claims, Fraud, incidents, attrition, grievance etc. Prepare & publish Zonal Governance report, discuss with departments and provide inputs for improvements, analyse trends and identify focus areas Review & identification of parameters related to Material & Emerging Risk - basis web references for inclusion, modification and preparing reports. Conduct Risk Control Self-Assessment of functions, prepare overall summary and conduct control testing of risk controls Review of Business Impact Analysis of functions of functions on assigning priority for Business Continuity Plan Participate in automation to improve team efficiency Support the reporting manager in enhancing the quality of discussions risk-based decision for key committees like Risk Management Committee, BCM Steering Committee, etc. Sharing experience and providing necessary assistance to team members on operational process managed Conduct Vendor Risk Assessment for Material Vendors Key Deliverables: Preparation of reports for RMCB Review of Policy, SOP, Plans, Risk apatite, etc. Conducting RCSA, Incident Management fact findings, Material and Vendor Risk Assessments Zonal Governance report preparation & analysis – includes KRI monitoring Be part of the team & contribute to Projects (departmental or cross-functional) undertaken by the team in any aspect of business. Audit and internal control management for the department, attending trainings designed for enhancing skills and knowledge. Create appropriate risk awareness across the organization by effective communication and training. Candidate Specifications / Competencies in terms of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Academics required to successfully perform the job: Post graduation in commerce or any equivalent qualification General knowledge on life insurance and pension Should possess excellent communication, collaboration skills with ability to work in a matrix environment across functional lines as a team player. Communicate effectively & comfortably in writing and verbally with internal & external customers including those who do not understand the concept and technical terms of risk management Should be well-versed with MS Excel, word & Power-point. Knowledge & application of excel macros, Power BI preferable. Additional coding skills like R, Python etc. shall be added advantage. Relevant experience required: 3 - 5 years of overall experience with 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in Risk Management.
