Job Role: Performance Marketing Specialist Job Description : A Performance Marketing Specialist is a full-time role in Palsons Derma and would be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to achieve specific performance goals. Location: Kolkata, Sector-V, Salt Lake Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Campaign Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement data-driven performance marketing strategies to promote skincare products across digital platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram Design and manage campaigns focused on key metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and conversion rates for skincare products, treatment services, and promotions. Allocate budgets efficiently across various channels, ensuring the maximum impact of marketing spend to generate product sales and brand visibility. Paid Media Management : Oversee the execution of paid media campaigns, including search (PPC), social media ads, display advertising, and remarketing, with a focus on skincare audiences. Optimize audience targeting, bidding strategies, and creatives to reach potential customers searching for skincare products (e.g., “anti-aging cream,” “acne treatment,” “sensitive skin solutions”). Continuously monitor and refine campaigns, adjusting ad copy, visuals, and targeting to improve performance, particularly during product launches and seasonal promotions. Performance Analysis and Reporting : Track, analyze, and report on the performance of skincare marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and other ad platforms. Provide detailed performance reports that focus on traffic, sales, conversions, and ROI for skincare campaigns, making recommendations for future strategies. Use insights from analytics to create A/B tests for skincare ad creatives, product landing pages, and audience targeting to improve results and optimize spend. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) : Collaborate with web development and design teams to optimize landing pages for skincare products, ensuring they drive higher conversions and offer a seamless shopping experience. Identify and implement improvements across the sales funnel to reduce drop-offs and maximize conversions, such as optimizing product pages, checkout processes, and customer journey pathways. Use A/B testing and heatmap tools to analyze user behavior on skincare landing pages and refine strategies for improving engagement and sales. Budget Management and Forecasting : Manage and forecast the digital marketing budget for skincare campaigns, ensuring efficient spending on channels that deliver the best returns. Regularly assess performance against KPIs (e.g., sales growth, customer acquisition cost) to ensure marketing efforts align with the company’s revenue goals and overall brand strategy. Re-allocate budgets flexibly to capitalize on high-performing channels and adjust strategies based on market trends, customer demand, or seasonal skincare needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and product teams to ensure that ads align with the skincare brand's tone, messaging, and product launches. Work with sales, CRM, and customer support teams to ensure performance marketing efforts align with customer acquisition and retention strategies. Coordinate with the SEO, PR, and brand teams to ensure that performance marketing efforts integrate with broader skincare campaigns and product launches. Trend Monitoring and Innovation : Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms, as well as evolving consumer preferences and skincare market trends (e.g., clean beauty, ingredient spotlights). Experiment with emerging advertising channels (e.g., TikTok, influencer collaborations, affiliate marketing) to engage new skincare audiences and increase brand reach. Ensure all digital advertising strategies comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and follow the latest platform policies for paid media. Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of paid media strategies with preferable experience in skincare, beauty, or e-commerce industries. Proficiency in advertising platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Linked In Ads particularly for skincare and beauty products. Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot) to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing efforts. Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques and A/B testing for improving skincare e-commerce sales. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field. 4-6 years of proven experience in performance marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads) or digital marketing, preferably in the skincare or beauty industry. Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or similar digital marketing certifications are desirable. Experience managing large budgets and scaling marketing campaigns for skincare or beauty brands. Knowledge of skincare products, trends, and consumer behaviours is highly advantageous. Key Metrics: Increase in skincare product sales and lead generation through paid media campaigns. Improvement in customer acquisition cost (CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS) for skincare-specific campaigns. Growth in website traffic and conversions from paid channels, especially during key product launches or promotional events. Higher conversion rates from optimized skincare landing pages and checkout processes. Successful acquisition of new customers through targeted ads and innovative marketing strategies. Adherence to budget allocation while consistently driving growth in paid media ROI.
