Senior Social Media Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Social Media Manager to lead digital strategy and engagement for a high-profile political client based in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in political communication, content creation, and audience growth strategies with expertise in Tamil-language digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the political client’s objectives. • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, video, graphics) in Tamil for platforms like Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. • Monitor political trends, news cycles, and opposition activity to craft real-time responses and campaigns. • Grow and engage the client’s online community through interactive posts, live sessions, and influencer collaborations. • Analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies for maximum reach and impact. • Coordinate with designers, videographers, and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging. • Handle crisis communication and mitigate negative publicity effectively. • Stay updated on Tamil Nadu’s political landscape and digital trends. Requirements: • 2 years of experience in political social media management (preferably in Tamil Nadu). • Expert-level proficiency in Tamil (written & spoken) with strong copywriting skills. • Familiarity with political messaging, voter sentiment, and election cycles. • Hands-on experience with social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.). • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced political environment. • Strong leadership skills to guide a content team. Preferred Skills: • Experience with paid political campaigns (Facebook/Google Ads). • Knowledge of SEO and grassroots digital outreach. • Graphic/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.) is a plus.
