Job description Job Title: Business Development Specialist (1-2 years Exp) Location : Bangalore Department : Sales Reports to: Business Development Specialist Job Summary: The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Market Research: Identify new markets, identify new prospects. Lead Management: • Handle and qualify inbound leads through calls, emails, and other platforms. • Generate and nurture outbound leads through cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, etc.). • Maintain and update lead information in the CRM system. Sales & Business Development: • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions. • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. • Follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. • Build strong relationships with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. • Collaboration & Reporting: • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth handover and client onboarding. Reporting: • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and closed deals. • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the company. Qualifications: Education: should be master's in marketing / Sales or similar qualification. Skills Set: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills. Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles. Preferred Qualifications: Internship experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Familiarity with CRM software and tools. Personal Attributes: Highly motivated and self-driven. Positive attitude and proactive approach. Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
