Overview At Picnic Social Strategies, we craft thoughtful and strategic content for purpose-driven brands. Whether it’s social media, blogs, email campaigns, or web copy, we’re here to help brands show up consistently and confidently with their voice. We’re growing and looking for a full-time Copywriter and Editor who brings creativity, strategy, and care to every word. If you love writing with purpose, collaborating with a small but mighty team, and helping brands tell their stories in meaningful ways—we want to meet you. Responsibilities Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for: Social media posts and captions Email newsletters and marketing campaigns Blog articles and website content Ad copy and promotional materials Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and consistency Use tools like ChatGPT, SEO platforms, and keyword planners to support strategic content development. Refine AI-assisted content into brand-aligned, human-first writing Collaborate with our strategy and design teams to prepare brand guidelines for client tone of voice, and align key messaging with overall campaign goals. Adapt writing style across a variety of client industries, including wellness, hospitality, non-profit, real estate and financial. Manage client content calendars and content topic sheets Stay organized and manage timelines across multiple client projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Writing and/or Advertising 2–3 years of professional writing/editing experience (agency or in-house preferred) Strong editing skills with a passion for polishing voice, tone, and structure Familiarity with digital marketing channels and SEO best practices Experience working with AI and SEO tools (like ChatGPT, SurferSEO, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest) Ability to think strategically about content’s role in broader marketing goals Comfort working in collaborative platforms like Google Docs, Notion, HubSpot, and Canva A proactive, thoughtful, and communicative working style Benefits Casual dress Company events Education funding Health spending account Paid time off Bonus pay Work from home/hybrid office options Salary Salary will be based on experience, ranging between $50,000 - $55,000.
