At ARM Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Human Factors Safety Consultant to join a Leading Design and Infrastructure Consultancy, who lead the delivery of complex Human Factors work packages across high-hazard, safety-critical environments-focused on Nuclear related projects . You will play a pivotal role in the integration of Human Factors into Safety Cases , supporting engineering programmes, and delivering expert insight across multidisciplinary teams. Your purpose: Working in multi-disciplinary teams on major programmes and carrying out specialised work on an individual basis, as well as providing support to senior colleagues in delivering specific project outputs. Maintaining client relationships and supporting business development activities including, identifying opportunities, and providing input to bids. Contributing to innovation and knowledge sharing across our Human Factors community. Key Requirements: A curiosity of the Human Factors Safety Assurance process. Experience working within high hazard engineering environment and are familiar with engineering terminology, ideally within the Nuclear sector. Experience of providing Human Factors support to Safety Cases (this may be limited experience), such as development and substantiation of Human-Based Safety Claims. With a desire to further develop your knowledge and experience in this area. Knowledge of relevant Human Factors UK and international standards/guidance and their application. A good degree or post graduate qualification in Human Factors or a related discipline, such as psychology, engineering or industrial design. CIEHF Registered Member status or equivalent or working towards chartership. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
