Flat Bed Machine Operator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate flatbed die-cutting machines according to job specifications and production schedules. Align dies and cutting materials accurately to ensure high-quality cuts and minimal waste. Monitor machine operations during production to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular quality checks on output to detect defects or misalignments. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines to prevent downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report major faults to the maintenance team. Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products. Maintain accurate production records including output volumes and machine performance. Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and productivity goals. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 Prior experience operating flatbed die-cutting machines in a packaging or printing environment (essential a must have) Familiarity with die setup and different substrate types (carton board, corrugated, etc.). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. High attention to detail and a focus on quality. Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
