SThree are pleased to announce we're recruiting for a talented Payment and Banking Team Lead to join our excellent team in our office based in Cadworks Office, Glasgow Payment/Banking Team Leader role is responsible for ensuring all payments across all SThree Regions are made timely and accurately from accounts payment non trade, employee expenses, manual payments, and payroll working to ensure the highest quality process is in place. Any rejected or refunded payments are captured and worked to an end resolution. Working to ensure effective controls are maintained, implementing a continuous improvement process. Manage weekly payment process for Accounts Payable Non Trade Manage weekly payment process for employee expenses Manage exception lists to ensure all exceptions are resolved Manage and control the payment calendar for SThree including, the frequency of payment runs, manual payments process, including payroll payments, ensuring correct documentation and sign offs are in place Manage an end to end rejection process, ensuring adequate controls are in place Ensure all payments are audit compliant Perform process end to end review and provide recommendations and prioritisation for control enhancements. A daily bank statement reconciliation is performed Manage daily clearance of bank statement transactions, including working with sales ledger team to ensure receipts are managed on a timely basis Month end process and timetable is adhered to Manage mailbox queries and follow up on outstanding queries in accordance with agreed SLA's and KPI's Advising on corrective actions to reduce future queries and rolling out process changes where required Conducting 121s on a regular basis to support your team What skills and knowledge are we looking for? Strong background in payments and banking area. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong background of end to end process review and controls design Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, Word and Visio experience necessary (VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) with an excellent standard of formatting. A good working knowledge of financial systems (with previous experience of SAP). Strong customer and stakeholder management skills including influencing across functions and levels. Strong people skills, must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of managing change, key stakeholder engagement, effective influencing, delivering value add initiatives and continuous improvements.
