Diesel Mechanic/ Diesel Fitter

A leading South African open-pit mining and aggregates company has a vacancy for a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter at their Mpumalanga operation. This is a hands-on role for a skilled artisan who thrives in maintaining heavy mining equipment to maximise uptime and safety. Minimum Qualification & Experience Grade 12 (preferably Technical) Trade Certificate Diesel Mechanic / Millwright / Diesel Fitter 10 years' field experience maintaining heavy equipment in surface mining Valid driver's license Strong systems knowledge: CAT engine diagnostics & maintenance Hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems troubleshooting Oil analysis interpretation & preventive maintenance Drill rig experience (highly advantageous) Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Compliance & Documentation Team Leadership Operational Support
