Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a Rates Administrator to support our Property Department with the administration of City of Cape Town Rates accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in rates invoices, maintaining databases, and handling queries related to property rates. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain and update a database of Rates Accounts received. · Ensure Rates invoices are correct and processed for payment. · Verify and update City Property Valuations regularly. · Follow up on rates queries, refunds, and miscellaneous allocations. · Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account-related matters. Requirements: · Minimum Grade 12 qualification. · Strong numeracy skills are essential. · Experience in a similar role is advantageous. · Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. · Previous experience in property development, debtors/creditors control will be beneficial. Competencies: · Ability to work independently and within a team. · Strong organizational and planning skills. · High level of accuracy and attention to detail. · Good communication skills (verbal and written). · Self-motivated and confident.
