Junior-Mid Web & Graphic Designer

Job purpose The UXi Private Education Group consists of some of the best secondary & tertiary institutions in Africa, such as Belgium Campus iTversity, the IMM Graduate School and Open Window. We are passionate about quality education and the latest technology trends in the marketing space. We are looking for a skilled designer who can whip up engaging content in no time for all the institutions and associations within the UXi Group. The ideal candidate is someone who works well within a team and can juggle multiple tasks within a timely manner whilst keeping a consistent level of quality. Social media & marketing trends are the order of the day, and your creativity will have to keep up. What we are looking for Technical Skills: Apply best practices when designing for print Apply best practices when designing for social media & digital platforms Be proficient in Adobe software such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop etc. Experience with web design and being able to put together functional web layouts for both desktop and mobile devices Be proficient in WordPress and Elementor Bacic understanding of how to optimise websites for mobile viewing Knowledge of SEO Soft Skills: Display endless creativity Keeping up with current trends and how they affect your content Be a team player but also someone who can work alone without micromanagement Be excellent in time management, planning & communication Requirements Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or something similar. 2-4 Years of working experience in a design or web design field. Drivers License.
