Fleet Controller

Requirements and Qualifications: Grade 12 National Diploma in Operations Management/Fleet Management/Logistics and Supply Chain 3 Years experience in a similar role People management experience Experience in working as part of supply chain team Advanced Fleet and transport knowledge Duties include: Fleet Management Assist in compiling of fleet policy, and act as custodian thereof Manage acquisition process and definition of appropriate vehicles Manage fleet disposal process Compile budget TCO calculations and monitor performance thereof Assist in defining control systems for Fuel, maintenance and tyre management Manage control processes iro fuel, maintenance and tyre management. Manage all service providers relating to Fleet related purchases Manage all pre-defined exceptions with regard Fleet management Managing of license renewals and COFS Create and managing control system for vehicle maintenance and monitor controls Accident/Incident management Custodian of internal fleet master CPK, and managing exceptions Monthly reporting on fleet costs Distribution Management Assist in compiling of outsourced transport policy and definition of Transporter Service Level Agreement Selection and vetting of transport service providers Reviewing of supplier rates and benchmarking against market Analysis and reporting of outsource vs insource costs Analysis and reporting of delivery route profitability Analysis and reporting of customer cost to serve Monthly reporting on outsourced transport cost x branch
