Job Description
About the role Responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting financial data into databases and systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records, which are essential for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Key areas of responsibility: Data Entry: Capture financial data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, and other formats. Verification: Verify the accuracy of data entries and query any discrepancies or missing information. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Error Identification: Identify and correct errors, bringing them to the attention of relevant parties. Collaboration: Liaise with employees, departments, and clients to collect necessary information. Documentation: Gather invoices, statements, reports, and other financial documents. Support: Provide support to other staff members as needed. Knowledge and skills needed South African unemployed YOUTH aged between 18 and 34 Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before Grade 12 Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Proven experience as a data capturer or in a similar role. Familiarity with financial terminology and processes. Excellent typing and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
