MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFGs global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific About the Role: Position Title:Head of Transaction Banking MGS India Corporate Title: Vice President Reporting to: Head of Transaction Banking Division and Head of Overseas TB office Location: Bangalore Job Profile Purpose of Role: The objective of this role is to promote global offshoring as global Transaction Banking, creation global offshoring strategy and implement migration process from MUFG offices to MGS India and to oversight development and implementation of best practices as a team leader of Transaction Banking MGS to drive positive client experience and proactively lead operational efficiency efforts and process improvements. HY: TB EMEA to revise as a supervisor. The role plays an important part as liaison between stakeholder groups involved in the delivery of all transactions & service requirement, including front office, compliance and operational groups across the organization. HY: TB EMEA to revise as a supervisor. As part of the team, administrator will be an individual contributor role and will be responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of communications between parties. Main Responsibilities: Take ownership proactively to explore global offshoring and conduct initial feasibility study by coordinating well with global stakeholders to execute banks strategic initiatives. Demonstrate and achieve a high level of ownership at the migration stage. Plan and promote appropriate team as Centre of Excellence for global TB. Drive process automation and efficiency by standardization and digitalization, reengineering to cut costs. Enhance KPI of operation quality management and deliver the good performance. Ensure people development and engagement. Ensure retaining talent in the team by nurturing people. Develop and deliver the teams learning journey. Ensure highest levels of accuracy by the team in transaction processing and ensure minimal client impact and/or operational incidents. Support of customers daily transactions and operations, by investigating and resolving enquiries and complaints promptly, and managing the client expectation. Will be responsible for completing clients transaction & service requirements in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures. Ensure that all required documents and data from clients is collected and reviewed and delivered for further processing in line with regulatory and internal bank requirements. Adhere to policies including escalation and compliance requirements and follow any other relevant internal controls and procedures as they relate to process, products, policies and regulations. Take ownership and facilitate client needs by liasoning suitably with all stakeholders and follow till execution. Ensure high quality customer experience and reduce process/documentary redundancies to maintain client satisfaction. Candidate Profile: Graduate or Postgraduate with minimum of [10] years of relevant experience in banking industry Experience leading sizable teams. Working knowledge of Banking Products including Trade finance, Remittances, Bank Guarantees & General Banking like RTGS / NEFT etc. Client Service Experience is required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good Knowledge of MS office. HY: What does MS mean Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience. In-depth knowledge in RBI regulatory aspects around Trade, Forex, BG & GBO will be of importance.
