Job Description:

Strategies LLC is a women and minority owned consulting firm serving corporate, education, public sector, and non-profit organizations. We help clients achieve sustainable industry differentiation through strategic development, training, and implementation of non-market solutions. Strategies LLC brings together experienced and skilled policy, media, legal, management, and community professionals.


We are seeking a part-time -- approximately 16 hours per week -- intern to assist staff with all aspects of our new and ongoing campaigns. The firm’s work includes public affairs, policy initiatives, media relations, external relations, corporate social responsibility initiatives, stakeholder campaigns, community service campaigns, and strategic planning in philanthropy and the non-profit sector. Strategies LLC works with a number of non profit and for profit clients that seek to serve the community. The intern also will support the firm’s community initiative – Make the Difference -- whereby the firm promotes local organizations, people, and policies making the difference in our community.

Job Requirements:

Skills needed include a desire to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, with experience in or desire to learn about public relations, media relations, and community relations. The intern will have the opportunity to work with staff on client deliverables and support the firm’s operations.


Basic office skills required include: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, database entry, filing, answering phones, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. The intern should be interested in working with a small hands-on firm where the impact of the solutions we provide are immediately evident to the clients we serve.
