Sales & Marketing Internship

Job Location: Canton, MA, United States

Job Description:

• Sales prospecting and lead generation via cold calling into both Fortune 100 manufacturers and smaller contract companies
• Marketing campaign follow-up: follow the activity from campaign conception through execution and then follow up on the leads that are generated.
• Database segmentation and organization using proprietary customer relationship management system and Excel. We’re constantly adding new contacts to our database. Learn about the importance of database management while helping to segment the information in order to provide sales & marketing with laser-targeted contacts.
• Customer surveys: Customer feedback is critical to future success. Help effect positive change in our company by being on the customer service front lines.
• Market and competitor research: Discover the ins and outs of this $60 Billion industry while providing the company with invaluable data.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you’re shy on the phone, this is not the internship for you.
• Self-motivated, with a solid independent work ethic
• Must have a go-getter attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to gain the experience you need
• Business management and/or marketing majors preferred but open to all genuinely interested in a career in sales & marketing
• Bi-lingual a plus. EquipNet is a global company with customers who speak a variety of languages. The more languages you speak, the more international experience you’ll get.
