Job Description:

Inaugural balls, cherry blossoms - what better place to be this spring than interning in Washington, DC? The Media Research Center (www.mrc.org) is looking for fall interns who are interested in Journalism, News Analysis, and Marketing. Whether you are reporting the news from Capitol Hill, blogging on NewsBusters.org, developing an ad campaign or conducting market research, you’ll get a hands-on experience you won’t find anywhere else.


Application Deadline is Dec 1. Internships start January 19 and run through April 17. (Dates can be flexible). All internships are full-time and pay $9.00/hr.

Job Requirements:

Excellent writing skills
Knowledge of current events and politics;
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
A passion for politics, journalism, or research;
Possess a firm understanding of conservative principles based on limited government, individual liberty with responsibility, free enterprise, and a strong national defense
