Job Description:

Each intern can expect exposure to One Economy’s expanding outreach efforts that include traditional and new media. Based on each individual intern’s goals and interests, a semester spent at One Economy might include:


• Drafting releases and advisories;
• Preparing for and staffing press events;
• Researching reporters and outlets to target;
• Maintaining media database;
• Updating clips; and
• Other writing and research tasks assigned by the Directors of Communications and Marketing.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications
Excellent communication and research skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of HTML and/or AP style a plus.


We accept applications year round. Applicants should be available a minimum of 16 hours per week during the academic year. This is an unpaid internship or work study opportunity. We are located conveniently near the Metro.
