Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
.
Assist the lighting designer with the design process as agreed upon
Produce and maintain lighting paperwork for the productions in association with the lighting designer
Act as master electrician for all for all main stage productions
organize, schedule and assist with hang, focus and strike for all shows
hire electricians for hang, focus and strike
program light board during tech as agreed upon with designer
run light board for all main stage performances & rehearsals
maintain lighting rig during the run of all productions
Order lamps, gel, and other supplies as necessary
Rent, set up and strike special lighting for opening nights
Assist sound intern as needed
Perform all other duties as assigned by the stage manager during productions
Attend all weekly production meetings
Be a contributing member of a very collaborative team
Design and execute lighting all productions in the second stage (cinema)
Design/ provide technical assistance for all rentals using the main stage
Design/ provide technical assistance for all other rentals as necessary per the rental manager
Assist building manager with all electrical maintenance around the building (per building manager)
Assist other departments as necessary (per artistic director)

Job Requirements:

Participate as part of the Hippodrome Theatre by supporting and working with the Artistic Team
