Job Location: Gainesville, FL, United States
Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
Research and compile target marketing groups, businesses, clubs, and previous patrons to focus promotional material for mainstage and cinema.
Work with Group Sales Manager, Marketing Director and Outreach Manager on outreach to special targeted market groups.
Develop proficiency in Theatre Manager ticket sales and patron relationship software. Help with reports and other TM projects.
Assist Group Sales Manager, Outreach Manager and Development Director in the organization, promotion, and management of special events at the theatre including fund raising, outreach, rentals, and Opening Nights.
Maintain yearly administrative calendars for Group Sales, Development, Marketing, and Subscription to help document and coordinate administration projects and deadlines.
Assist Group Sales Manager and Development Department with record keeping for Subscription, Sponsorship, Donor, Membership, and Group Sales programs.
Participate in inter-department meetings for administrative projects and provide notes on project assignments and completion dates.
Assist Grants Administrator in grant research and preparation and maintenance of grant files.
Assist CFO as needed.
Work with Box Office and Front of House as needed.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date and accessible databases, including detailed records and tracking of solicitation activities.
Year Long Internship.
Job Requirements:
The Arts Administration Intern works with various departments assisting with projects in Outreach, Development, Grants, Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, and Event Management. The position is designed to provide extensive experience in the administration and business functions of the theatre.
