Sales Manager Advertising Space and Tradeshows
Job Location: Anywhere in US - Any Location, DC, United States
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced advertising sales professional who will be responsible for growing company revenue through advertising sales in our print, online, tradeshow and event products for a national magazine. Specific duties include business development and account prospecting, creating and making proposals, and customer service/retention. This position will utilize primarily phone selling from your home office. The candidate may reside in any city, having said that there may be some in-person selling and networking at industry events when applicable depending on the city in which you reside.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1 year in sales background of any kind. Print and/or online media with the ability to show consistent goal achievement in previous positions is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills are needed.
Compensation package consists of commissions, as well as incentives for above goal performance.

Job Requirements:
Candidate should be articulate, professional and have an upbeat friendly demeanor and excellent oral skills. Basic computer operations such as Microsoft Office Applications. Prior sales, particularly advertising sales experience and is a plus.
