Internships in Hotel Industry at the Olympic Games

Job Location: Beijing, Beijing Municipality, China

Job Description:

In the upcoming months, including the year 2008, Beijing is in high demand of well-educated hotel staff. As part of the preparations for the Olympic Games, many hotels have been built.
As of now, hotel managers are looking for foreign personnel to prepare and better accommodate their upcoming international guests. They are looking for foreign personnel to come work before, during and/or after the Games. In this context, CITS A & D will act as liaison to support the hotels with their search.

Job Requirements:

- finished or have begun training or study in the hotel business (completion of the first two years of general education courses)
- good knowledge of spoken and written English language, other languages are desired, basic knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous but is not required
- confident dealing with hotel software systems
- confident dealing with MS Office programs
- keep open-minded perspectives for new experiences
- strong communication skills and sensitivity toward cross-cultural customs and etiquette
- flexibility to work different shifts
