Talent Agency seeking Southern California Independent Bookers (paid in % of commissions)


Talent Agency with 10 years in the business is expanding in all divisions:


Film, TV, Music, Sports, Modeling,Live Events.


Seeking both talent booker/coordinators as well as Entertainment Sales and marketing experts.
THese are commission only 'independent contractor' positions with room to grow the position into


a paid position. Commission percentage is substantial.


What follows is a list of all divisions in which the agency is taking in new intern/independent


contractors.


Experience is preferable in all divisions but especially in those marked with an asterisk (*)




1. Acting Talent Division
a. Theatrical (Film/TV) Bookers
b. Commercial (TV) Bookers

2. Writers Division
a. Writer Booker (Marketing & Sales)*
b. Script Readers* (film students preferred if possible)

Booker/Coordinator positions involve submitting talent to various casting directors/talent buyers


as well as coordinating auditions, call backs, castings. All positions are paid on % of


commission on each talent booked by booker.


Marketing/Sales positions involve soliciting various 'Talent Buyers' to utilize the services of


specific talent or the agency services in general.


Pay for marketers involves a % of profit for each purchase made by Talent Buyers.


These positions require the independent contractor to have access to high speed internet access.


Contractors may work in the office or may telecommute but must live in the Los Angeles area if


they choose to work from home.


Time commitment should be a minimum of 3 days per week with a preference for 5 days per week.
The best candidates will have superior verbal and writing skills, ten finger typing ability and


good grooming since we are in a business where image is quite important.

business seeking Southern California Paid Independent Contractors in the following Music


Divisions:




Music Division Job Openings.


a. Music Talent Booker/Coordinators--must be highly knowledgable about specific musical genres,


experienced with working with promoters, club owners--local or national. Keen understanding of


musical markets, club needs, promoters in Los Angeles (and though not mandatory, in the national


arena)


b. Licensing Sales & Marketing. Must have experience in music licensing, familiarity with ASCAP,


copyright issues etc. The right person for this position will be a self-starter, great with sales


personality, and must love music!


c. Music Talent Scouts--Experience preferred but not necessary. Must have intimate knowledge of


specific musical genres. Must have sharp intuitive sense of current music scene and cutting edge


music that is gaining in popularity. Must have an ear for music that could be accessible to more


than a small niche audience.


Scouts would use any means appropriate to find breaking bands including internet, club


attendance, etc.
Agency would provide potential pass/ access to music venues to scout new musical talent.


We are seeking Music Talent Scouts to find up-and-coming bands in the following musical genres.


We only need 1 Talent Scout for each Musical Genre. We are thus seeking 7 Talent Scouts in Total:


--Alternative Rock
--Hard Rock/Metal
--Pop/Top 40
--Rock
--R&B/HipHop/Rap
--DJ/Dance Club/Electronica
--Latin


Pay: Potential for 10,000 to $100,000 per year depending on experience and performance
(paid in % of agency commissions)
