Chimpanzee Intern Caretaker
Job Location: Bend, OR, United States
Job Description:
Interns will be responsible for cleaning animal enclosures, creating enrichment, fundraising activities, preparing diets, washing dishes and laundry, gardening, and otherwise maintaining the facility. In addition to daily husbandry, there will be daily educational sessions in which interns will learn more about varying topics pertaining to both captive and wild chimpanzees. Interns will also be expected to complete a project that they will present to the Chimps Inc. team.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a current TB test
Must have Tetanus shot within the last 5 years
Must have Series of Hepatitis "B" shots
