Legal & Litigation Intern

Job Location: Washington - Washington, DC, United States

Job Description:

The Law Offices of Paul Strauss and Associates, P.C. is a downtown Washington, DC law firm with offices located 2 blocks from the White House. Interns get to work with lawyers specializing in courtroom trial advocacy and Civil Litigation. Litigation interns work directly under the supervision of trial attorneys and will get to attend and assist with court hearings and pre-trial preparation. The firm's areas of practice include, but are not limited to Labor Law and Employement Discrimination, Tenant's Rights and Real Estate litigation, personal injury and family law, including the representation of abused and neglected children.


This is a small firm where interns get extremely substantive work, and receive a lot of personal attention. Although unpaid, it is a great opportunity for anyone in Law School, or considering a legal education. A great majority of interns have gone on to law school, and some have even returned as lawyers to practice with the firm.

Job Requirements:

Varies depending on level of responsibility sought.
