Job Description:

Encompass Adventure Programs is an adventure based counseling program serving youth of the Greater Hampton Roads area. Our offices are based in the Resort City of Virginia Beach, and our programs occur all over the eastern half of the North America. We are looking for enthusiastic people to plan, implement and support our youth programs. Work with at-risk, foster care, adoption, probation, parole, ADD, ADHD, other youth, and adult populations. Interns work with groups of young children (10-12) and teenagers (13-19) supporting counseling objectives and facilitating a wide range of adventure programs. Adventure programs could include sea kayaking, canoeing, biking, backpacking, camping, climbing, orienteering, nature study, caving, cultural and group experiences, and any areas of special interest to staff/interns.
