Animal Show Intern
Job Location: midwest - Chesterfield, MO, United States
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities: handle live invertebrates after proper training, research and study facts and information about various invertebrates to present brief formal and informal talks to Butterfly House guests, and inviting guests to enjoy Butterfly House activities and attractions.
Job Requirements:
Interns should be working toward or have recently completed a degree in Biology, Entomology, Performing Arts, Communications, or related field with at least a 2.5 GPA. Qualified candidates will possess a friendly and inviting personality, a desire to interact with audiences of all ages and abilities, and professional public presentation skills. An Animal Encounter Intern is energetic, out-going, and comfortable handling invertebrates while presenting information to a public audience.
